Just out of curiosity, what is a "management roll?"

I don’t really know. I’m thinking director of scheduling and the like. Whereas a crew scheduler most likely wouldn’t want relocate

Not in that area. The HQ will be in Williamson County, the most expensive in the state. You can't live in Williamson County for $60k. And now with Nashville on the way up it will hard to live anywhere in the immediate area for $60k unless you're a single person living like a college student. If you have a spouse who works and makes about equal money then it is possible, but it is likely still going to be an hour long commute if you want to live in a real house with a yard that isn't in the ghetto.

Something tells me the fact BNA is an OCC location, youre getting your Tennessee hopes up high trying to justify it as the "central base," and to justify that, DFW needs to go even further south, to be the south base...sound about right?

No, it seems the expansion in IAH would make it a better place for a pilot base.

Speaking with the MEC, our contract is a little costly (on purpose) as it relates to closing bases. Good, bad or indifferent, it provides wanted and needed stability for our crew members and the company does just fine. Maybe one-day you can move to a base of your choosing.

Cheers
