question: I have considered getting this. for a Chase priority pass don’t you also have to show a outbound ticket? I guess if I had to I could just list me on some random flight. Also, is there any other card with lounge benifits that anyone would recommend?

Chase credit cards don't exclusively provide Priority Pass access. It's just a benefit of some of their premium cards, and other credit card companies offer this same benefit as well.

Centurion lounge access is also fantastic and has great food if you want to pony up for one of their cards.

However, it seems that a lot of these lounges require you to have a confirmed seat on your boarding pass (standby doesn't always work, maybe others can chime in for specific lounges that let you in without an assigned seat), so just listing for a flight won't cut it. The good news is, most of the time your access is good for the day, meaning you can go into a lounge after you land, not just before. Helpful in places like LAS where you'll likely commute in a bit before the redeye departures.

I've always been asked for a confirmed boarding pass for priority club and centurion lounge entrance.

It’s nice when you have a confirmed deadhead but bring a pullover because crew isn’t allowed in most of them and the crowds are insane these days.

almost as if you aren't the only traveler who thought getting a chase sapphire card was a good idea?

Sweet insight as always from you.

Nobody said others can’t go to the club, but the fact they are crowded and before you spend $550 for an AMEX platinum, realize the rules of what’s going on at these lounges.

You dare to suggest some of the posts on APC are less than helpful, incorrect, or a waste of time? I thought info here was the gold standard? Guess I'll have to start getting it on a WhatsApp chat instead.

Those clubs & lounges got so crowded that nobody goes there any more.
