we have 20 some odd 321 NEOs on order with options for another 50 airframes. Those slots are still several years from delivery. It wouldn’t be hard to make them LR’s if Spirit wants to lean that way.

Thats ink on paper and nothing more. We’re still years away from assembly, which means it’s nothing at all to tell Airbus that we want the LR tanks.

Strategies change. The order of 30+ 319NEOs is evidence enough if that.

I’m surprised RemoveB4flight hasn’t came on here and given a pompous response of why he wouldn’t fly the ETOPS routes.
