Though it's possible only 70% of us will get it, counting the asymptomatic ones as well.
Now please, back to wild rumors, conspiracy theories, far left/right wing politics, and preaching our expertise in Airline management, and well...generally everything.

You see this number being thrown around of 70-80% infection rate that makes it seem like you will likely get it and then you just spin the wheel to see if you die. That number comes from 3 cycles of the virus with zero mitigation. So, 3 seasons. The likelihood of a vaccine, therapies and anti-virals by that time is pretty high.

Are these future pax you’re referencing going to be the same 6.6 million people that haven’t worked in months and are filing for unemployment? The same people that are struggling to pay rent and car payments? I’m sure they will all be running out to buy spirit tickets to fly down to Mickey’s house come September.

Outside of SOME small businesses and restaurants/bars, most of these people are going to be working again when things open up. Teachers without any question.
Hopefully the stimulus bill actually helps small/local businesses. Time will tell. But the Cinemarks, Apple Bees and major retailers of the world are going to be there just as before and employing people when this ends. Or you can choose to believe that the world as you know it is completely gone and destroyed and our lives will be in complete despair. Do and think however you feel. I’m not going to argue with you.
Personally, I have yet to meet a single 9-5er corporate America slave in any trouble. Most of my friends are downtown office building folks. They are working from home and getting paid as normal. When they and white collars are in the unemployment line then I’ll raise an eyebrow.
You can also, legally (in my state anyhow) file for unemployment if your hours have been reduced enough, but are still legally employed. Not sure how many other states are like that.

Most of the unemployment claims are teachers (logically) and service industry (extremely logical). Most will have jobs when this is over.

Not sure that's how it'll play out, but one can hope.
