did you read the MOU? It was pretty clear if you had training on your schedule, which you did bc you bid it last week, that you couldn’t bid a VIL. This shouldn’t be news sorry.

Depends if you had training starting in April that went into May you could bid for it, but if your training was all in May you couldn’t.

And that would’ve been April training technically but yes it was covered in the MOU as well.

All you did was potentially screw somebody else out of a VIL... maybe a poor commuter that won't be able to get to work with all these cancellations 🤷‍♂️

Hopefully when they pulled the people who had training off the VIL list they gave it to the next person who bid. Not sure if they did, but it would be a win win.

Of course I read it. I bid for it not expecting to get it. But when you get awarded and think "cool, I can go grace late," then tell your family you're sacrificing for everyones' health, and they're visibly relieved, only to get the rug pulled out...

So you knew you shouldn't have bid for it, but hoped you would get it anyway. Seriously, as if planning needed more hassles?
