I wear the mask only where it is absolutely required, or if I am feeling sick. Otherwise...nah.

Good lord you are a moron. Truly. I would have left even if DSM were a base from day 1. I don’t know why you can’t understand that. I have zero clue wtf you take this so personally.
I ended my last message to you with the following:
”If you are happy with Allegiant that is great for you. Truly. We all need to find our own place etc”.
Grow up.

Yeah...the reason people are fearful is definitely because others won’t wear masks....

I don't know about you but when I shart it still goes all the way through my garments, unless it is plastic (N95) underwear it will soak through. Where are you getting your facts? Some states have not had a peak yet such as Arizona and Florida. Other states have already went through a peak. The states that went through a peak did not overflow the hospitals, which was the goal from the beginning of quarantine. The goal keeps changing pending an election. Not only did the CDC mess up amount of cases they were counting antibody tests as positive. I just read an article that Goliath, ya know David vs Goliath, was killed by COVID-19, even though he had signs of blunt force trauma.
The US has a population of 328.2 million people. 71,000 new cases is such a small number my calculator can't put that many zeros before the percentage. But even the US skewed death count of 136,000 as of today, that is a .000414% chance of dying from COVID-19. Percentage of infected .00987% The odds of even getting infected are very low and the odds of dying are even lower. We shut down the economy for this? The death rate is decreasing. 2.8M people died in the US in 2018 from all causes. Try having some perspective. If that low percentages are too scary for you then stay in a bubble, it is your choice. But for left leaning governors to start telling us who should be open, who must wear face masks, and having dictatorship type power for however long COVID stays around is absurd.
PS How sad that the top running democrat is allowed to continue with obvious dementia.

You fired off a bunch of numbers, but how many would have to die for you to care enough to shut down the economy briefly, what’s the number? If someone (or multiple people) close to you died would that change your perspective at all?
Lastly, you just fired off a baseless statement about the health of a public figure. What is your source for Joe Biden’s health condition?

“The infection rate and death rate are so low! I can’t believe we shut down the economy for this!”
Meanwhile the infection rate is low because we shut down the economy (notice how it’s again exploding now that places are open, even with masks and social distancing reducing infection rate), and the death rate is low because we prevented the hospital system from becoming overwhelmed, and all the COVID patients that needed proper medical attention and equipment got what they needed.
also, if you’re turning COVID into a left vs right political issue, you’re downright un-American

15300 cases today in Florida...on a weekend. Whelp, October is going to be a furlough bloodbath.
If you are bored there is an Interesting article here about a MIT paper on Covid in airplanes. The risk of catching it is actually much lower than I thought it would be on a plane- about 1 in 4300. 1 in 7700 if middle seats are left open. Those stats obviously get worse as the national amount of infections rises though.
