They don’t anticipate demand returning before summer 2021. 319’s are most likely candidates for parking. They don’t know if they will park them short term like they did in April or long term. We can’t sustain this cash burn and have to take steps to “right size” the airline. They will evaluate how many furloughs for office support at a later date. For now, pilots, FA, dispatch and mechanics are being served their 60 WARN notice. How many of those will actually be furloughed won’t be know until 30 days prior to the end of the CARES act. If the government continues the CARES act, they will re-evaluate once the detains are known about the extension. They didn’t sound real solid that that would prevent the “Right Sizing” the airline. He did say that downgrades would be “Commensurate” with the number of furloughs

You didn't miss anything important. The admins selected some ridiculous and irrelevant questions so nothing truly pertinent was addressed.

Wasn’t $1.5M a day the number from the earnings call. Whatever they say to investors should be factual. What they say to employees is part of the spin game.

Yes there will be furloughs. 806, most likely not.

Speaking of being naďve ... What do you think the chances are of our furloughed pilots actually seeing the “furlough pay” outlined in the contract? Are they likely to honor it, or are they going to try to pull AoG despite having 6mo to prepare?

Union should start stepping up with communications about furlough pay, COBRA coverage, costs, CARES Act rules of borrowing from 401k, IRA, refinancing, mental health assistance, assistance from ALPA, reps should be reaching out to the guys who got WARN letters. Lots of folks here have their heads spinning and need some direction.

I’m sure this falls in the out of companies control/act of god. No furlough pay. As far as borrowing from your 401K, that info is on the Schwab website. In a nurse, you can pull up too $100k (I think) but you have to pay it back by the end of this year to avoid penalties and interest
