After the hiring at the legacy and big cargo airlines in 2022 and 2023, you really think Spronter will be able to staff 450+ airframes and 1000+ daily flights? Seriously?

Pilots with no degrees and no TPIC are getting hired at the legacy airlines right now, many with less than 3000TT. And things havent even started to get bad yet! Wait until there are 1500 hour CFIs getting hired at the legacies in 2024.

Im envisioning alot more turns out of MYR, BWI, and LAX. Less 4 days, sure, but getting rid of 31 hour CAK and LBE rons would be a good thing.

why? You don’t liked getting paid a full days work for just sitting on your hotel room???

FUPME and I’ll fly 1 day trips. Make it worth our time or see people walk.

Sure, if they would be in places like AUS, SEA, SJU. But they're not building those.

To each their own. I will take any long over any short layover. Only fly pairing based on trip rigs. Yeah, LBE isn't my favorite, but still better than 12 hours in any airport hotel.

Same here, but there seems to be less and less long layovers. I don't mind them on a quick two day trip, but these four day trips with all short stay hotels are for the birds. I've done more uber eats and expensed more taxis over the past year than all of the others.

I'm looking forward to being home most nights.

Where I live there are no kids running down the hallway, housekeeping doesn't knock on my door while I'm trying to day sleep after a redeye, and the bar at my house doesn't close at 8pm due to COVID.

I'm LAS, don't mind red eye flip flops, so no shortage (yet). Just did a 4 day with short layovers, because layover in domicile, needed to be home that morning, not planning that again. Definitely agree with what you are saying, but it doesn't work for me as a commuter...

Oh im a soft time hunter, too, and i believe we should go back to the 16 long. I just hate the extra long rons in podunk, which it sounds like will be eliminated. If they'd build 31 hour rons in long beach, i would be pleased.
