Frontier numbers are wrong pay wise
RES days off is 12/13

Probably better to just re do the chart correctly if you are going to try and be helpful

So word is out that Sept. 6th all Spirit pilots are getting a pay override of $25/hour untill a new CBA/ JCBA or 2 years passed.

this is straight from a guy in new hire class and management gave a presentation too.

Also ONLY first year new hires. Once 1 year is complete you get a “signing bonus” of $45,000. And health insurance immediately!!!

I’m still waiting for my money sir. Please sir.

YTD total was almost exactly what I quoted
649 hired
296 quit + 54 training/other
299 net gain

We’ve basically sent a hundred pilots to each of the big 3 and a smattering to other companies per the breakdown.

So is Spirit deliberately over-hiring right now with the knowledge they are going to lose half of their new FOs to the legacies?

Well, Ted told Spirit shareholders that we are hiring enough to offset attrition. 2 minutes later he said that they don't have enough crew members to fly aircraft to the utilization that they would like. Spirit isn't about to sign any form of a record breaking deal, especially if it was beyond current JB rates.

I think a lot of airline management is about to wait and see what the economy does, and I'd be very surprised if any airline signs a new contract by the end of the year.

you’re commenting a lot here. Did you leave Mesa? Are you at spirit now?

just wondering

Too much time on my hands. I was commenting on airlines and negotiations. I think the poster actually meant major airlines. Skywest has a new TA but it hasn’t passed yet. Hang in there. The money will come because it’s has to.

You're right, I was particularly referring to Major airlines, given that this a Spirit forum. I guess I worded that badly.

Even given Regional airlines at the moment, though, aren't all their giant pay raise contracts on all 2-3 terms, including SkyWest; and then it reverts back?
