How long does it take to hold a line in LAS nowadays with everyone leaving before hitting the line? And should I look for a crashpad or is there any cheap crew hotel I can budget less than $500 a month?

I have a “nice” pilot only crash pad at $400. On reserve and hardly ever use it because I’m being abused right now. I’d venture to guess once these reduction/expansion bids stop it’ll be 6-7 months to hold a line in LAS. Easily going to credit over 100 hrs this month

Is JS priority among spirit pilots based on time of listing/check-in or based on seniority?

JS based on first to list, 72 hours prior, NK only. After that, NK check in, OAL check in

I’m going to be a California commuter. I’ve heard I can XY list in BUR/LAX. Is there a good chance I would be able to pick up trips out of these outstations often?

You can only X list at your base. But, you can Y list there. No you can only pickup trips from a base so can’t out of LAX. You can try to pickup trips with LAX overnights though.

Y list only. That means they call you and if you answer, you have to take the trip.

As others have mentioned you can only list for X list in your domicile. CS calls you to see if you want to take the premium trip. You could Y list out of either BUR or LAX. Again, CS calls you and with the Y list trip and you have to take the trip if you answer.

You can pick up open time trips, as a line holder, but it is at straight pay. Grabbing premium flying, as a commuter, kind of sucks. Much easier if you live in your base.
