I understand the company reasoning though, I have only been flying for 3 years now and honestly having a full winter and some more summer weather under my belt isn't going to be a bad thing! I would want the guys I fly with to not only want to be at the company but be good experienced pilots too!
I was talking to the wife today and she is all aboard the Spirit train. Especially after explaining what a lot of this actually meant for living day to day within a company.

That's the plan! Sent a thank you note to my recruiter today after getting the TBNT. I'll try to hit 2500 by the 6 month mark so I'll meet the recommended times. Jumpseat some more and get maybe a couple more LOR's.

2300TT with 1300 TSIC. 750 of it at a 121 carrier in the 757/767. My friend that was also hired the same day had pretty much the exact same times, but his 121 time was in the ERJ. We both had 2 internals.

Just got the invite to attend.
Before I commit resources, just wanted to ask if currency of flying is a prerequisite at Spirit like many other airlines. Retiring from the military this June and will be 2 years out of the cockpit by then.
Otherwise:
2700TT
850 Turbine PIC FW
All military
TIA!

This is my second career - I used to work in construction sales so I'm used to a no meaning "No for now, but try later."
