I suppose some of us do, I made $203k last year as a 5/6 year reserve CA…not good these days. Also, that’s with only 12/13 days off a month.

Yep, when the people negotiating it are at the top of the scale I don’t think it’s really focused on. This is the third contract now it’s been like that? Even with it sloped it’s still not easy to make $250k as described.

My pay in 2021 felt like that joke from before C2018 when we said our captains already make legacy pay, legacy FO pay.

SPA MEC’s contract comparison product was very well-done, however, with everyone else heavily into Section 6, we’re basically comparing ourselves to old or even bankruptcy contracts.

I think most folks understand that it’s a current comparison to other current contracts and that those numbers will change going forward as everyone is in negotiations. Any contract that only beats other current contracts is a failure. You have to meet or exceed the new round to have anything worth voting on.

I remember the Contract Comparison we had before the 2018 contract. Every changed. It was before the Legacy carriers got their raises.

Corrected for inflation our DOS+4 rates are more than 2% lower than DOS rates.

Well, with 7.5% inflation you need a CPI index in there just to stay even.

You know, the two managements have been plotting this for years. I hope NK and F9 ALPA reps have already had a meeting or two to plot strategy for the JCBA. Both groups need to be in lockstep on the demands, or they will get played off against each other by management.
