One person asking a question on a displacement forum isn’t disrespecting those displaced. Answer it and move on, or ignore it if it’s that big of an inconvenience. tf
So you're worried about MCO right now, a Florida base at Spirit. That's cute

Worry about what you can control. You think management is making a mistake, noted.

You know what, I changed my mind, I sat my family down and told them to believe in the business model. We put some candles around our shrine to Bendo and Ted. We disrobed and had the wildest BDSM skat filled orgy. Life’s not bad when you’re an Aristocrat.

I would plan on commuting to FLL initially with MCO being fairly realistic after a few months, maybe sooner but nobody knows how this will play out.

We are about to gain a ton of commuters who will be senior to you, and FLL is the least desirable for commuting (most expensive hotels/crashpads, have to cover two airports, etc).

The good news is MCO is growing so you'll definitely be able to bid into it sooner rather than later.

Thank you, this will be helpful for planning!

Looking at the reductions. Obviously the 350 pilots is a combined total of CAs and FOs? Trying to see how effed I am. Nervously checking my email for my ticket out.

Wild guess is the 350 won’t be 175/175. We are super short on FOs in the bases being displaced, ORD would be down in the 60s for FOs if it’s an even split.

Bases are always heavy on the captain side. Captains have more vacation, plus training department. I’m guessing 60/40.

ya that’s true. I’m just freaking out. Looks like I’ll barely hang on to my base. Man this is crappy.
