Just posted in base chat that it seems the union knew about this base reduction bud months ago but failed to notify us about it. Where are our union dues going?

The same notes the OP was referencing. Also said is that they wanted to reduce ORD and DTW much more but when they saw how many people lived near there they held back for retention issues. The writing is on the wall, Spirit tried the northern bases experiment and didn't like it. I would put my money on both eventually closing.
