Absolute truth.

Unlike future fleet projections which may be too high, too low, or dead on, the size of the fleet on the snapshot date is ascertainable and definite. Using a static fleet analysis as of the snapshot date allows the Board to determine the impact of various formulas for merging the lists without reliance on speculative merger driven fleet size assumptions
Interesting that this same logic doesn't apply when they are forecasting the seniority list out into the future. I guess they have no problem speculating on future attrition, medical outs, retirement age (we've seen that change before), etc.

Those %’s generally don’t change as a result of the merger where as future aircraft delivery’s/returns can/do. That’s part of the reason for a snapshot. After that date decisions are/can be made based on the new combined company. It also helps filter out one company trying to gain an advantage in the sli by hiring/upgrading a bunch after the snapshot.

Junior 190 CA awarded is Nov 2019 hire. He got awarded it back in august. Most junior awarded 320 CA is July 2017. Their training is I think in September or October.
Thanks for the insight!!

Most junior to hold 190 CA is actually junior to those, but that occurred on the 2021 annual bid. I believe it’s an 11/19 hire.
