Whats the current upgrade time for a new hire?

Never, with current orders on the books. That might change with merger, buyout or more ac ordered.

Say what? Never with current orders? The 100 plus 50 options, those ones on the order books?
No one knows for sure, was 2.5 years then went to 3.8-4+

It’s a big question mark, especially with any newhire today most likely will be part of a combined list, 5000 deep

The big issue is that we can’t staff the flying we have now. We’ve reduced the summer schedule and upgrades slowed to a crawl at the beginning of the year because the training center is backed up churning FOs. We have 20+ airplanes coming this year and can’t fly them. Delivery deferrals or cancellations seem likely. No one knows what will happen.

Money solves all. Make it rain 200% and everything will be covered

Until it’s decided who management WILL BE in the future, it’s impossible to say ANYTHING with certainty.

A little over 4 years right now from talking to other guys.

Unfortunately the question is "upgrade time for a newhire" not "what longevity guys are upgrading currently."

We have a very likely seniority list integration coming, a possible recession, and reducing flights as we speak. Spirit is no longer the place with a fast upgrade, that is a fact.
