I would guess 90% of UPS pilots use a company provided backpack.


Way easier to climb the stairs then a flight bag.

While I don't use a backpack, I have often thought about making one my flight bag. I like to hike on overnights and it would be nice to be able to dump the flight stuff out and have the backpack for water, food, phone etc. Not sure I would ever use it as intended in an airport though, but rather have it on the J hook like a normal bag.

They make ultra lightweight backpacks that collapse into the size of two pairs of socks. Works great for layover day hikes or trips to the store.
