“Inclusive” language in a CBA
Was this really a question on the NC conference call as they published it in the email?
Why is this on anyones radar? A CBA dictates how much cash hits your accounts, how much time you get off, and how enjoyable your days at work are.
The language being his/her/they/them is not a factor for any of those. Let’s focus on priorities. Seriously

If this is just more “notice to air missions” social justice diatribe, then yes we have much more important things to focus on.

So much to unpack in this "guide"
Basically you should not say "Ladies and Gentlemen", "Mother and Father," "Husband/wife" "boyfriend/girlfriend", "brothers/sisters"
manpower, businessman, airman, congressman....
In a union, we are now no longer to refer to members as "brothers and sisters" and end a correspondence with "fraternally".
Most ridiculous is the end of the "guide"; "This is a working document and as such is under continuous review. Please send suggestions and comments to [email protected]." As in "If this offends anyone, let us know, and we will adjust for you"
The tail continues to wag the dog.

Soon will be the days when Spirit pilots will get fired for saying “Ladies and Gentlemen welcome aboard” then Antifa and your local ACLU chapter will show up at your home throw rocks into your kids window demanding you be sent to prison for hate speech
Spirit recently hired a bigwig for our Diversity and Talent acquisition department. She has done nothing but send woke emails…I’m afraid Spirit will also succumb to the same diseases that Alaska and United has and the majority of corporate America…
