Sadly I’m feeling the same way. What do you think the timeline would be from application to class date if you get hired? I don’t want to have to make a decision until I know for sure this thing isn’t happening and don’t want to burn a bridge at United if I’m not ready. Also don’t want to wait until everything and their mother floods out of here.

i get what you’re saying. I’m not wanting to go. If the merger is approved I’m never leaving. If it’s not that’s when difficult decisions must be made.

Well thats not a surprising revalation. Its not like they would say "the airline ceased opertions because low fuel prices, low interest rates, and lack of competition." Airlines and businesses tend to not do well with high interest rates, high costs for their #1/#2 expense line items and extreme competition.

My buddies that went to UA said that assessment to interview can be anywhere from a few days to a month. Depends on slots available, but they said that most people chose 2-3 weeks out. This allowed them to prep.
Interview is about a 1.5 - 2 hour ordeal. Very relaxed environment from what they said.
A few days after the interview, they got the email saying they got the CJO. After that, it was approximately 2ish months to a class.
All that said, seems like we’ll know the verdict of the trial by years end so it would give you enough time to decide.

what? You did like that someone actually can up with an answer that an airline actually did close up shop? So you are now dismissing it because it happened before you were born so now it doesn’t count?
