The best part of todays news, is it's Biden's horrible DOJ that is mainly responsible. Yet a lot of people on here voted for that fool, but now can't put 2 and 2 together.....

Helene Becker (Cowen? Associates ) or whatever thinks liquidation is the most likely scenario, so we got that going for us

correct me if I’m wrong but I believe if Spirit files for ch. 11 the company can renegotiate our contract.

I think the issue is the people who own the planes can get their money back easier via CH7 than 11? No idea we don’t own much else

So what happens in a "liquidation"? We all go on the street?

Good effing job. In like 2 years Spirit will no longer exist and 10,000 people will be out of a job after the inevitable bankruptcy to follow. Dedicated customers of Spirit? You mean like the two or three people out of thousands upon thousands of customers we **** off on a daily basis? Clueless judge and moronic govt overreach. What about every other airline merger in the past decades? Completely asinine.

Far more likely Chapter 11 than Chapter 7 but if it does go Chapter 7, yeah, we all wind up on the street. Not necessarily something all that bad for the junior FOs in this market but a real shaft for the guys who have been here ten or fifteen years and will be starting over at first year pay somewhere else.

No worries, I am sure JB will accept your application when Spirit flatlines - you will finally get the opportunity to fly that bad-a$$ A220 that Spirit passed on...

I agree with the person who said you get the government you vote for.... Don't blame your Republican friends.
