There's plenty of good options for Spirit pilots to go to without having to go to one of the AA Wholly owned. Spirit pilots have some of the best QOL in the industry, and AA wholly Owneds have some of the worst.
Spirit pilots have some of the best QOL in the industry...exactly. Pretty soon, NK will get 365 days a year off.

It will take a while to get sorted out. There’s a home for every Spirit pilot at legacies and LCCs. No need to go to a regional.

It wasn’t going anywhere and they stand a greater chance of losing them now than with the merger. You sound retarded

Default Thank god spirit got a bite of the apple🍎🍏

What a horrible offer the spirit pilots agreed to, with no raise anytime soon. Nothing will be done fast to raise wages because Jet Blue might appeal......or Spirit cries cash poor and gives no raises or even forces pay cuts. Gotta love the job Spirit did In pulling one over on the pilots who voted yes. Schedule at spirit is nice, but $50 k to $100 k a year for doing the exact same thing is far better. Low, crappy pay is where Spirit stays,....... But just remember you got a bite of the apple😁😂😭😂😆🤣🤮🤮😵😡😡🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍊🍋🍋🍆🍆🍆

Who really knows though, F9 could be licking their lips to try and buy you again.
why don’t you just go to United and be awarded CA on day 2??

The Legacy Airlines were never going to allow this.

The big guys have committed to spend more than $18million in lobbying in 2024 according to public records. Guess where this money is going...
This. The govt bloat and control has been exponentially increasing. They really want the legacies to control. If I had to guess, somewhere a group wants a return to the legacy only market and to get rid of deregulation.

Age 67 isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Spirit may not make it through the recession which we are due. There won't be any movement in seniority or salary.

I've survived a the Great Recession, downgrade, contract concession in bankruptcy, another bankruptcy, furlough, and age 65. I started over at 58. I'm upgrading this week, after 2 years, in my home base. You don't want to be on the street when no one is hiring.

On day 1... Went pretty junior (EWR, DEN, SFO 737) and looks like that's there to stay for at least few months.

But honestly, I (like almost everyone else) was shocked with the judgment. Thought it was a done deal and NK group would be able to keep DTZ and the best QOL.
I enjoyed DTZ before leaving for UA. Although no DTZ, there are many other aspects that make QOL very good (once you learn all the little tricks of the 650 page contract &#128556. Not sure how defending DTZ while the company financials are tanking will affect the future negotiations.

I really feel for the NK group. You're in a tough position now during one of the best times in the industry 😔.
For those who are considering UA, you can message me if you have any questions...

Good luck to those staying and those considering leaving.
