My point was contracts are made because ALPA is in the business of making money. Higher the wage the more intake they have for the “War chest”. 1.85% of $360 is more than 1.85% of $285. Maybe check out what 1.85% of $360 is. I’m sure just a coincidence. Simple arithmetic. ALPA fights for ALPA. Your paycheck reflects that fight. Nothing you individually do will or ever has changed that and furthermore may in fact be detrimental to your career. The only lifting done was saying no to what was previously negotiated. We’ve all said no one time or another. We will get ours eventually as well as will NK with or without us.

Year 5 CA on reserve. Submitted apps to DL/UA/AA the day the merger was blocked. Haven’t heard anything yet besides the AA assessment.

Good to hear. I'm assuming you left as a lineholder. How has it been with schedule flexibility?

So are we just in limbo until june / july when the appeal is decided on? Not excactly encouraging if management is still just hanging on to the hope of a merger making everything better. Or did miss an email that said more than "we did some lease backs, yay"?

We are going to lose a ton of guys...but maybe thats what they want.

Can confirm. From day 1 was led to believe Delta was by n large a military outfit playing airline, and now having experienced it for myself it is anything but. The crews are awesome, and theres a proud sense of commraderie here. We arent without fault but at least our culture isnt defined by low morale or virtue signaling which is more than can be said for the other two.
