thia is the culture issue everyone sees with Delta….you literally just typed it out. We are the best….we know we are the best….everyone else wants to be us.
no one at Delta ever says hey we’re a pretty good airline! They have to end every sentence with “the other 2(3/4) suck. |

When I was at Envoy, most people at AA said the same thing about Delta. Now I’m at delta and most senior CA I used to fly said the same thing about AA. So at the end of the day, it’s all the same. “We are great, the other sucks and their culture is not as good, but their contract is better than ours. I know X pilot that makes more than me, or has more days off than me, or I want that from their contract in our contract”. |

Been in contact with a few recruiters.. waiting on an interview date at two legacies. Things a bit backed up apparently. Punchin out!

the more of you senior guys and gals that have the experience and resumes to leave actually leave, the more you will be helping out the junior guys from getting furloughed. much appreciated. personally, if I had 10 yrs seniority I wouldn't bet my career on a knee jerk reaction and start over again without at least waiting a little bit to see how things play out. at the end of the day, our NB jets are highly desirable and so are the people to fly them.

If the town hall was any indication of the future it that this management has zero vision and thinks they just flow up and down with the market. |

Is it true the recent class drop included 737 captain slots?
I'm with American. Thanks, AF

There's been CA slots in every class since the new contract was ratified. The last vacancy that closed had ~180 unfilled CA bids which will be passed onto new hires. The currency open vacancy has 220+ unfilled CA bids. CA bids have gone all the way down to the 8 ball at least once, and the 2nd most junior person in the class (the 7 ball? 15 ball???) multiple times. Bottom line is they aren't going away any time soon!
