Sounds like you've found a cause to take up at Jet Blue. mgmt pilot, perhaps? I hope things turn around for you soon.

You want him to thank you because your MEC got yall a nice contract to vote on?

Congrats on raising the bar, and I mean that from a position of respect, but it seems odd for you yourself to be demanding gratitude from other pilot groups for the work of your MEC and not anything that you did on an individual level besides vote.

Unless you are a DL MEC officer, and if that is the case then thank you.

Most guys can't point to anything the big bad delta guy did to them, there's just a lot of herd mentality out there on this one.

Most the hate I hear is from pilots who flew for Delta regionals. Daddy DAL treated their regional like garbage and their regional treated their pilots like garbage. Therefore "I could never work for a place as awful as Delta." I try to say something like "All majors treat their regionals like garbage. This will not be your experience on the DAL seniority list." But most have already made up their minds.

There may be more to it, there may not. What do I know, I'm a Spirit lifer who couldn't get a phonecall from DAL 10-20 years ago. I don't know your life. Ultimately, you do you, Boo.

You showed up to dispel the Delta cultural knowns, but instead added to them. Beat it stupid.

I don’t think either of us are looking for an attaboy or espousal of gratitude from anyone. It was just a weird post from bluedrivel, especially when DALPA does dues refunds and is leading the charge at national for a reduction in dues. And so that was a succinct response to him in my mind.

Thank you? For what? Making a point about DL and your mighty attitudes?

wow! Sky high! I didnt know a sub inflation contract was sky high?
Do you also insist to rude the hotel can without other crews from other airlines?
This is probably what the guy was talking about.
Every Airline has their own issues but delta seems to be the only ones who smell their own farts.

These types of comments are comical. Delta is probably the best run of the big 3. The pilots are constantly leading the charge at the top of the compensation pile in each round of bargaining. Profit sharing checks you can buy a small house with. Yeah let’s worry about something dumb like perceived culture.

Their seniority demographics may not make them someone’s first choice but culture, really? YGTFKM.

This sounds like my gen Z neighbor that left a higher paying job to crawl back to his previous employer for less money bc he didn’t like the “culture” at the new company.

Im at spirit bc of where my seniority landed in my career and industry life cycles. Has zero to do with culture.
