You nailed it... I care nothing about my job. I've never seen the inside of a crash pad, I sit first class just to get to work, don't deal with pax, and make more money than I need to keep my family fed and happy. All while flying a 747 all over the world. I also have a lifted truck!!! Ain't life great!
Under respected,
Under Biden.
I would say you have things pretty well figured out. Don't forget how much your wife's boyfriend enjoys you being gone for 17 days in a row.

You still can't address your own failed argument trying to link being quarantined in Hong Kong to a business model. I can make rational, objective statements about what I do for work and why that fits my lifestyle, and why it might be a good fit for someone else. For some reason I just don't feel all that pathetic.
I think your first mistake was coming over here to our page, thinking pilots would want to downgrade to Atlas. I mean you did mean well though.
OK well I don’t commute, don’t have to jumpseat, I don’t have a crash pad either.

But does your aircraft have four engines? That's the only thing that matters.

I think atlas would be a great company for one of our junior pilots living in south Florida and commuting to Las Vegas indefinitely since we don’t have vacancy bids anymore…

Please don't let Halons posts be a reflection of our pilot group! He is the village idiot here! What's really sad is that he thinks he's a "somebody" within our group! Even worse, people keep calling him out on his ridiculous ramblings yet he never gets the message........and he calls others "pathetic"!!! Thanks for your offer to help. Like someone else said, for some Atlas might be a good fit. We all have our reasons for where we want to be. I'm sure a lot of people wonder why I've stayed at Spirit so long......but it works for me! On a side note.....you did lower yourself to his level with the light twin comment!!!

Hello - I dont fly for Spirit but I emphasize with your situation. I have friends who do fly at Spirit and I wonder if you've considered flying freight?
Atlas Air (for whom I fly for) and I'm sure others are also hiring. I can only speak for what I know about Atlas and that the company does have plans for expansion...just...needs....pilots! lol
I know this is recruiter language but I'm not making a buck off of you coming over or not. It's just to at least have something to also consider besides the majors.

A significant number of the folks on the chopping block spent 6 months or less at a regional (or even came straight from a 172) and have been blocking 10-15 hours a month on reserve. Many likely aren't competitive for a legacy job.
