that’s fine, but that’s not what speed is saying. He literally referred to warn letters in July vs furloughs tomorrow. It will still start with warn letters

They’re saying Ted’s email tomorrow will detail his path forward. The details will include right sizing bases, aircraft deliveries/orders, and projected furlough numbers. He did say he would give details prior to earnings. |

nope - actually quite easy for me. Seems maybe it’s difficult for you though, but that’s ok we all can’t be good at everything.

How about we all sit on our hands for 24 hours and wait for Daddy Ted to preach his prophecy and then get the union follow up to make us feel warm and fuzzy.
Then we can start the who said what hunger games and I can get the popcorn ready early. |

Man, do I really have to explain further? I know what they are saying. But Speed literally said, furloughs tomorrow. Fastback literally said warm letters in July. I asked what is it, Warn letters, July, or Warn letters tomorrow? Now, everyone is saying I don’t know how to read. Speed, literally said, “Fastback said, Warning litters in July, I said, email from company announcing their plan to furlough tomorrow” he even put “warning letter” in italic / he’s not talking about the same stuff. they can’t just come instantly furlough tomorrow, we’re talking about warn letters tomorrow versus Warren letters in July. Which was my question. Everyone take a deep breath, take a couple of steps back, and use that education to read the messages. See y’all out there I’m out.
NO WHERE did I say they were furloughing tomorrow. That would just be stupid as no warning letters have been sent out yet. Take some extra time on your days off, and read a book bro. Will help with reading and comprehension skills. Cant fix stupid' |

I hope you can read your manuals better than you can read text on these boards. Damn. I said "emails going out tomorrow (Friday) from the company about upcoming furloughs. "

Get the box of kleenex ready then, emails going out tomorrow (Friday) from the company about upcoming furloughs. as mentioned in another post, 300-600 initial numbers with downgrades. Those Florida bases about to shrink.

Sooo if the Florida bases downsize and there's no furlough.....where do those pilots go? Are they going to suddenly grow the other bases again?

What is it about today's release that would indicate a new potential acquisition theory? Wishful thinking or is there some sort of indicator?

our Spirit Stock just dipped to an incredibly low number this morning.
I just placed an order for $5,000 worth of Spirit stock. Tell me I’m stupid! |

Wow, Ted didn’t hold back taking swings at the government and Spirit shareholders in his opening remarks!
So I’ve been talking with a lot of Captains out there on the line and none of them are applying elsewhere or concerned about their jobs. You guys are going to be in for a rude awakening and scrambling for a job soon. it is pretty clear we have no path forward (that will work). everybody keeps saying we will be fine. you guys are delusional. This is the same exact thing Braniff was doing their final days. They were trying all different kinds of marketing tricks, and nothing worked. |

Spirit doesn’t have a stand alone plan bc that’s never been the plan. This airline was set up to be flipped from the beginning of being IPOed. You don’t CEO an account unless you are getting numbers right for a sale. This company will be sold one way or another, long term stand alone is not an option anyone serious is considering.

Don't forget Haiti unrest as a reason for Q1 challenges.
