I had mil buddies doing that in the 00's. They all came back after 2010, as quick as they could.
Like somebody said, if you need a job you need a job. But US regionals probably pay better now, assuming you're a DEC. I'd rather fly a Deuce out of Podunk Falls, mostly avoiding WOCL, than work for EK.
Guess if you're young and single (or adventerous marriage with no kids) it might be fun for a while.

Left NK as a single digit CA in base. Plan A: Legacy, Plan B: Cargo, Plan C: DEC regional, Plan D: Go back to 91k/135, Plan E: work at HD, Plan F: have the family collect on my life insurance policy. I guess F would be the likely outcome working for E3. I've been around for a while. Sandbox was OK a decade or two ago. Would not send my MIL there.

Hulas always was an amateur at anything he did. Although, in this example, that's a net positive for the worker...hard as it is to say nice things about the man. God rest his soul, and chain the gates to be sure.
