Because you said the exact same things he’s saying, when I was giving a warning. Exactly the same stuff, and then the next week, after you’d been telling me how wrong about furloughs I was, you didn’t come back for a while to face your comments towards me. If you’d like to pretend that didn’t happen, based on your “I’ve said nothing to you” comment, that’s fine. I’m sure Mr president will act the same way.

69's next hot take is gonna be Spirit will merge with someone in the next 5 years. Then, when it happens he can be like "LOOK AT ME! I KNOW ALL! I HAVE ALLLL THE INSIDER INFO! BOWN DOWN TO MEEEEE".

And just so you can understand your short sighted arrogance. Have you ever thought that some pilots have serious health issues in their family, that staying on their current insurance and keeping a good schedule was more important than leaving? No…..you didn’t. Because you can’t see past your own self to realize that there’s a whole world spinning out there for other people. As I’ve said before, good luck. I think you’re going to it with the self centered attitude you have going.
That insurance ain't gonna be too helpful if we are all going to be out of a job soon as you keep saying lmao.

Credit Card reform. As mush as I’m a republican, the Biden administration saw this as something they were going to address. It will eventually be addressed.
Imagine a US Airways/NorthWest/Continental/AmericaWest APC forum. Rumor posts would be wild!

raise ticket prices? It couldn’t be that easy could it? Compare most any route we fly to legacy operators and our stuff is WELL under theirs. On some routes our new “first” is less than basic economy or whatever they name it now. How’s that competitive?its like we broke our finger so we saw off our foot to fix it

If we had a leader as a CEO we wouldn’t be on edge. There is no direction but down at this point.

Also remember our new CEO came from a place made most of their money on cargo contracts (Amazon) and charter flights. With only a small percent of scheduled 121 passengers to think about.
We don’t fly full or oversold planes on every flight. Our load factor last quarter was around 80%. That’s a lot of empty seats and the filled ones were sold at an average revenue of about $130 per passenger per segment. Not a winning combination.

It seems like Boeing has cranked up production and will actually start delivering airplanes again, so the legacies should be ramping up hiring again.
This actually isn’t true. Many quite senior folks that left in the last round thought they would have more answers. Thought surely by their class dates they would know if Spirit would live or die in the near future. They never got those answers. You can’t push your class that far these days. Once you tell them no you don’t get another shot.

Some of those guys took 80% paycuts and now work every weekend and holiday.

I know I won’t tell a legacy no and right now can’t in good conscience tell them yes. We need to know what the plan is for Spirit. The thing that keeps me somewhat optimistic is when you are owed $2B you don’t liquidate an airline that owns next to nothing if there is any shot someone else sees value in the enterprise. You also don’t tell a purchaser no unless you think you can get more at a later date or from someone else, which is what they did twice.

In the mean time they have some airplanes that have value and aren’t leased. I’d expect to see those go and furloughs to happen. They need the cash to keep the fuel flowing in the near term. Simple as that.

I never said “we are all going to be out of a job.”

The fact that you think your peers medical situations deserve an “lmao” just speaks more about you. I’ve given enough information about myself now, that people who know me, know. You’re still hiding behind a screen name, and can’t understand that you don’t know everything, yet continue to tell people how to live their lives. Many refer to your behavior as narcissistic, and I fully expect you to not be able to admit you’re wrong. I’m calling it now, but I digress.

listen, I don’t think NK is going anywhere and you’ll end up with F9 but that “Go to a legacy and you’ll end up working every weekend and Holiday” just isnt true and I believed it for a long time and it kept me at NK longer than needed. My wife and I struggled when JB/NK merger was blocked because we both thought the same, gone all the time, working every weekend, every holiday etc and that hasn’t been the case at all. The Paycut Is however SIGNIFICANT and that will hurt for a while, lol but the Schedule isn’t bad and if you want to Stay on RSV, it also is significantly better than NK (significantly). Obviously it helps I’m based in EWR but just wanted to point this out. And you nailed it in one regard, I thought I would have had a clearer view of NKs future before my class date, and clearly that wasn’t the case. Anyway, I don’t fault anyone for staying or going or bailing completely on this BS industry but just wanted to point this out for those maybe facing the decision soon. This I can say with confidence, you will miss the Airbus 😂 and the Crews for sure, but you’ll enjoy the variety in flying, the ability to have much more control of your schedule on RSV and the trip trading is vastly better but that could be just because there is more flying to choose from. Anyway, good luck to everyone having to make the decision, it’s brutal and I feel for ya.
