The reporter that’s been covering this has said that Citadel and the government have gone back-and-forth, and all counter offers have been rejected.
notice of enforcement will be filed tomorrow.
sidebar: I’ve been on vacation for a week just logged back in and I got a violation notice from the moderator saying I have an “alter ego account” WTF?!

Maybe Citadel and co. were pushing for a better deal but are still willing to accept the base deal instead of liquidating. 🤷

this offshoot of the discussion is not about a "massive job loss," it's about the misguided notion that ALPA should pick winners and losers. If ALPA comes out in support of a bailout, it is picking Spirit pilots as winners, and every other pilot it represents as losers.
At least a couple of ALPA MECs have had job fairs specifically targeted for Spirit pilots. Just because you decided not to leave, doesn't mean you get to ignore that union resources were expended on your behalf.
What's being lost here is that Spirit AFA is on the creditors' committee. That's why they're weighing in.
I'm glad ALPA is sitting this one out.

None of the secured note holders are approving this bailout, understandably. Only the unsecured note holders wants it. Trump knew this was going to happen. 90% was never a serious option.
It's over.
