Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could check the loads for me on flight 223 ORD-RSW for tomorrow? I'd be trying to travel on a zed fare with a family of 4

Also, if we did get on, would we have to pay the fees for our bags as off line non rev airline employees?

Thanks for any help, E

Flight #223 = -5/178

Flight #121 = -1/178

Non revs are allowed 1 free checked bag plus 1 free large carry on plus a small personal item per person. The checked bag is subject to the revenue dimension and weight limits which is 40 lbs a bag.

On that note. Anyone ever checked skis, a snowboard, or surfboard, or golf clubs while jumpseating or nonreving on us?

I've seen a pilot come into the crew room once in FLL who just flew in from BQN with a surf board. I don't know if he had to pay, but it's been done!

Yeah, I was more interested in how the agents interpret it if you bring one of those items as your free checked bag

You can take anything you want. Trust me.

4/5 captains that I last flew with have paid for at least my coffee (usually several times) and frequently dinner. That said, I am LAS based so maybe its those DTW/FLL people who are messing up?

I bring 80% of my food because I dont want to eat the unhealthy S*IT filled with sugar and preservatives that most people in our cow mentality of a society call food. Ive had comments about my excessive luggage (roller bag, chart case, and cooler). I can only imagine the boring meaningless life someone lives if they are concerned about something so inconsequential. Relax, I am not judging your McDonalds eating future fat butt. Im sure 30 years of airline flying combined with your diet will produce a bright future. Mind your own business and eat your POS 1 Liter Coke and fries.

The uniform is the uniform so I wear it, but a black wind breaker does not look unprofessional. Its not 1920. We dont need huge big bulky leather jackets. Where is my scarf and leather hat? Christ. Do VA pilots look unprofessional? Times change. We dont all need to look like the Captain of the Titanic. Besides, with out low cost break the mold business model, I think a black jacket would better match anyway.
That said, I weather the leather jacket. Its the uniform.

Oh, and NO VOTE on the Ipads.

Carry on.

Hahaha, love it. If we had REAL medicals, pilot shortage would be a reality.

Also no vote.
