We clearly ****ed off someone higher up. This is just a way to hit us right in the gut.

??????????

A fed told me it was all A320 series operators, not just Spirit.
...anybody confirm that?

Another 2+ hour delayed day for me.....again. This is getting real old, real fast. This fueling bit is nothing more than a vendetta of some kind by someone in the FSDO. It's complete BS, and another fine example of why FSDO's shouldn't be able to make their own policies and create little fiefdoms.

Wait, what's going on at Spirit? You guys can't fuel with pax on board? Is that the cause of all the delays?

I flew very recently and we refueled in a A320 serires with pax on board. What's going on? Is this a FAA directive or airline specific?

SAN MX rumor: MIA FSDO rejected our fix, wants an entire rewrite on the fueling manual!! This may last all summer!!

B6 isn't having such issues.

Speaking of jetBlew, I occasionally peruse their L&G thread and can't help but notice the constant belly aching about being the lowest paid "Major" airline. Apparently our $1.39B in revenue doesn't cross the $1.0B threshold to be considered a major. Also, I understand that they are still the only airline in North America to fly sharklet 320's, and the oldest "stand-alone" airline since deregulation. I only bring this up to predict that we may finally be considered a jetBlew peer in August, when our highest hourly rate passes theirs.

One other interesting tidbit, as of the close Friday, market cap:
SAVE : $2.37B
JBLew: $1.74B

Thank you, that was therapeutic.
