Speaking of jetBlew, I occasionally peruse their L&G thread and can't help but notice the constant belly aching about being the lowest paid "Major" airline. Apparently our $1.39B in revenue doesn't cross the $1.0B threshold to be considered a major. Also, I understand that they are still the only airline in North America to fly sharklet 320's, and the oldest "stand-alone" airline since deregulation. I only bring this up to predict that we may finally be considered a jetBlew peer in August, when our highest hourly rate passes theirs. One other interesting tidbit, as of the close Friday, market cap: SAVE : $2.37B JBLew: $1.74B Thank you, that was therapeutic. |
