Dude really? I live 1200 miles away and made a point to be there. The distance is a lame excuse. The next meeting in dfw I will be there too, if you are serious about what you do and what you want you will be there.

Seriously. So we should be expected to drop our trips so we can travel to vote? Good idea except that pesky reserve grid gets in the way. Maybe we should have the company cancel all flying on election day or maybe everybody should be able to vote.

The only in person voting was for the interim Captain Rep position that RP won. The normal election that followed a few months later was conducted electronically. RP and JA won and AB and JR (both DFW guys) lost. There was no disenfranchisement as you're suggesting. I felt compelled to correct the record here.

The past is past. We've evolved, growth continues, and now DFW can have its own reps. It's time. And in my opinion, so does any other domicile that desires to have more local (as in Local Executive Council) representation and services. No downside at all. Kinda works like that at most every other major/legacy airline. 107 signatures so far. http://www.petitions24.com/lec4dfw

I was thinking more along the lines of the much talked about recall of LEC reps. Does that not happen with only those in attendance at the meetings? I am not terribly well versed in union affairs but that was my understanding.

Who else loves that you cannot scroll down the open time list anymore unless you're on a normal computer? Who uses those things anyway?

Not only that but on my laptop the window only allows like 5-7 trips to be viewed. You have to scroll scroll scroll scroll

I've noticed that too. Not sure what happened to their website, but they've changed something in the coding for iOS devices.

Yep, still processing.
