Side benefit? The guys with bots may not have reset the time for opening.
A little nervous because my requests from just a little earlier were still in there. I don't see this ending well.
Looks like the trip I wanted was picked up at 1240 by someone else. Now, it's no longer available in Open Time and has been assigned outside of the Open Time window.

I submitted a request and was awarded a trip during initial brief open time. This obviously should not have been allowed.

Probably not the right techie terminology but there is clearly some automated software that a few guys in each seat have to automatically scrape open time as soon as DOT opens and when certain types of trips drop in as the month progresses. It's the same couple guys all the time getting those trips.
The crazy FLL captains and their out of base witch hunt would solve itself for the most part if the "bot" problem was solved. They wouldn't need that cockamamie resolution that screws the entire pilot group especially commuters.

I really hope every pilot takes 5 minutes and fills out an NCC for
1)not having IOT results posted on time and
2)This absolute horrible way the DOT was handled.
The email from the company was/is laughable. There is nothing "fair" about announcing at 12:45 that you will be reopening DOT at 1pm.
But hey, he is "deeply sorry"
