There's also a point at which the morale of the pilot group is so low that it collectively doesn't care enough to carry the burden anymore.

Dragged-out negotiations, low pay, operational clusters becoming ops normal. Stressed-out pilots...I think that point is rapidly approaching or is already upon us, and it is going to be a very rude awakening no matter how many cake and ice cream swag parties they throw in the crew rooms.

I just control what I can, and then punch out of here back into the real world and try to leave it behind.

Your talents will be much more useful at someplace like Delta, where you are encouraged and rewarded for caring. Good luck.

But he'll never work there

No.

1. HEPA filters do not filter organophosphates. In light of this, a cynical man might view the filter announcement as placating the masses with an ineffective action.

also

2. The location of the filters has not been changed, therefore they only affect recirculated air, so contaminats first stop is still your face...and it only takes a small amount.

Us Airways has the oldest AB fleet in the US, what have they been doing in regards to this? I'm sure their Airbus suffer from the same thing? (I don't believe CFMs are immune)

I will say, at least we have ET heading the new committee and the CPs Office has been very helpful

New airline service offers ultra low-cost fares

I know JS has been spending a lot of time in Seattle the last few days, I wonder if he's the guy in the "Savesquatch" costume.

I'd be interested in seeing statistics on which airlines have which engines, the different oil they use etc....and comparing fume incidents between them all.

How long has Spirit been in negotiations now? Are you close to getting a new contract? Thanks.
