I just read it too, from a current FedEx pilot looking at the latest awards.

If we are such low tier scum, then the pasta boy should be low tier scum, too. However, the data I've seen indicates he makes more than his counterparts at Southwest, Jetblue, Alaska, Allegiant, and Hawaiian.

Yep! Read it and commence weeping. The big draw to pilot pay the spirit CEO trumpeted is being Trump(ed) by bigger, better, High Tier airlines. Being Low Tier comes with Low Tier Expectations and Low Tier Performance. We're gonna fit in right nicely with Allegiant and Frontier, heck we're even below them on most lists anyways.

IRT the email sent out by the company on Monday, make sure you update your UltiPro profile to reflect your newly minted "LowTier" certification!
I wasn't sure what my actual certificate number is, but I'm assuming it's just [employee number]LT, or 12345LT. (Still waiting for the certificate to show up via Snail Mail.)
Four short of a High Five.

Been awhile since I've been on the boards here, but could not help to draw attention to the press release ALPA put out to respond to Bob's "low tier" comments. I have not seen the release in the media in any way, even from a google search, when I fully expected my ALPA news link daily email to be full of links, similar to when other airlines have put something out. Not familiar with the time lag of these things to get picked up so maybe I'm jumping the gun; however I remember from political science 101 in college that if you want a news story to get no attention from the media to release it on a Friday afternoon, which is when our press release came out. Not suggesting in any way that there is foul play involved, but was this a mistake to not wait for the Monday morning news cycle to release our reply?
