I understand what you are saying, and nice to see someone with motivation, but it is an illegal work action for the union to specifically say that.

Them's the breaks.....

I believe you're right. But there is lots of room to have a much more assertive posture. I'm just asking them to drive, not be driven.

You have only yourself to blame for that.

What action would you like to see? Neither passengers nor management care about a bunch of pilots holding signs at the airport. Billboard? Again nobody cares. The current plan to show at the shareholders' meeting is probably the most effective, followed by an MEC vote of no confidence.

Like I said before the MEC needs to push for mediation as quickly as possible and I'm sure they are. Until we are in mediation a potential release is far off. Until there is a threat of a release we have no teeth.

Can anyone recommend an Electronic Logbook that will upload flights from the past few years? What works best with Spirit's Flica/Crewtrac?

Ya, his motivation is probably selfish but that's not your argument.
I agree with everything you said except the last line. Pretty much as you stated, If a person can pick up a single day trip in the prior month and it results in say dropping four days in following month, it's harder on the company and won't hurt the pilot group at all. I usually have my conflict set up on initial bid, but won't think twice about picking up from open time to create one if need be. I don't think this is being selfish at all. Your not taking any candy from the baby. Pilot wins, pilot group doesn't suffer, company loses.

I use LogTen Pro. You can upload from FLICA and then input the times right there from the OOOI on the iPhone app.
