That may be true but you were stating it was a contract violation to not restore days off on a JA. It is not a violation.

we have a CEO that calls us low tier and says that even though we are paid half of what we should be that our contract will save them money.

We have a COO that no shows negotiations and offers us garbage.

We all hear stories of contract violations and NOIs. New hires are being fired at record amounts.

Now they can't staff the airline but use the weather as an excuse to not pay passengers but have the nerve to threaten our union with a lawsuit. And they wonder why guys only have interest in updating their logbooks and applying to other airlines.

This place has become a complete dump. one minute you threaten this group and then send emails talking about caring for one another.

I can't wait for an offer of employment elsewhere

Just shows you the level of incompetence and why to never let them get their stupid hands on PBS.
Completely idiotic, narcissistic management. Believe me, they are in complete panic mode that this will soon hit the media.

WHERE'S THE ALPA RAT? I'd love to see that puppy propped up on the Miramar lawn.

Gate agents everywhere plus mechanics are calling it a strike. I wonder if that narrative is being put out by the company

Didn't they blame the summer of '15 on a 'strike' as well?

I think it's just a generic rat you rent from like a party supply house. There've gotta be at least four for rent at any given time in the NYC area.

I've really never studied the history of past pilot groups suffering any ill fate due to the so called work actions. It just baffles me that any court would even consider awarding retribution if people simply don't want to work on their days off! Kind of mind blowing......
There's a difference in being sued because you don't pick up open time and being sued because you told someone not to pick up open time.

The lawsuit is against the latter. It can be proven that open time pick ups have been reduced, now can it be proven that it's because of outside forces? If it can be then you lose.

But at the end of it if you don't want to work on your day off no one, not even the courts, can force you too. However if you harass pilots that do work on their day off you are now going against a court order and will be punished accordingly. Free will vs. peer pressure.

Do we even know who made the infamous website? Because I wouldn't put it past someone on the other side trying to sneak in a pathetically low blow. If it comes down to it, I hope that scenario is at least given some thought.

The same thing happened at NetJets with our 'Golden Goose".
