Why do you care so much about what the NC makes? Are you insinuating that THEY are dragging out negotiations because they are getting 16 extra hours of credit per month? GMAFB. That job has to be pretty demanding and they should get compensated. Sounds to me like you have a personal axe to grind. Focus your anger on the correct target: the company and its reluctance to give us a fair contract.

The NC gets average line credit plus 15%. Some months that might be 98 hours. The secret resolution he's referring to is one to have the NC paid like other alpa carriers NC is paid. The OP can never back up his claims with facts. He's butt hurt because he can't go elsewhere. DP should've finished what he threatened to do years ago.

 

Actually no other ALPA carrier allows their NC to be paid this much. We are the only group. Call your rep, they can verify. And no I don't want into any "club", I just want my dues to not go to "volunteers" that make more than any line pilot and get every month off when no union business is being accomplished. How do you explain December? Not one meeting yet they get 98 hours plus expenses? I am not here to undermine the MEC, but to hold them accountable for the fraud waste and abuse of our dues. We still have not seen the required posting of the yearly budgets, that is a violation of our bylaws. Nothing personal here, its all business to me. Of course on APC you won't find too many of you that will stand up for yourself and demand accountability from your union. I just want accountability and new blood on the NC, not just members from one single LEC.
