Yes, you can easily get a good chunk of time off. Between dropping stuff or just the way 2 months come together (4 off ending and 4 off beginning)
Looking at like the 3rd reserve line from the bottom last month had a "natural" 6 day off block....granted you'll pay for it later

Just looked at the 2022 Vacation bid awards....no one junior to me was awarded Jan, Feb, Mar or Jun, Jul, the first half of Aug or 2nd half of Dec. If you bid halfway down the list...you could not hold January unless you picked it up after the vacation awards. Pretty much narrows my vacation choices

So expect May/September as a new hire? Fine by me, I guess that's just rough for people with kids.

Yes. I remember when I arrived…a comment was made “hurrah, I finally got my kid’s school break off…unfortunately they’ve now graduated.”

How do y’all think Sun Country will fare in a recessionary environment? Of course no one can tell the future, is Sun Country becoming a 1,000 pilot airline realistic?
