Default BrightLine flight bag

Im looking for a new flight bag to replace the duffel bag I currently use. The BrightLine bags look pretty good but reviews seem to be somewhat negative on the zipper construction. Does anyone have experience and or opinions on the BrightLine flex bags? Thanks.

I have the standard new generation B10 which I have been using for the last 6 months. I really like it! I am seeing more and more pilots with the bag and many people ask me about it. One of our pilots was traveling with the entire duffel system but that is way too much for me.

I take pretty good care of my stuff, but I think the zippers could be an issue if you are rough on it. They are nowhere near as hardcore as MaxPedition, for example.

For my airline use, the B10 is rugged enough. I love the functionality and ability to organize your stuff. I paid about $150 for my B10 which I think was good value.

I used the BrightLine everyday while i was CFI'ing and brought it on every flight. After a while the zipper did come apart but a quick phone call and a pic of the zipper resulted in a new bag in the mail. I have heard the new design has improvements. Good customer service goes a long way for me :-)

I have one of the original bags (last versoin before the current "flex" bags). I like the compact size and the number of compartments, the zippers have held up fine so far (had it about 2 years). The colored zippers on my bag do not really help me remember where I keep stuff and they somewhat detract from the aesthetics of the bag. My main gripe is that the shoulder strap could be alot better - I understand they upgraded that for the flex models so should be a good bag.

Anyone else having a huge issue with the zippers that attach the end pieces to the center section. It uses the large plastic zipper teeth? Mine are such a ***** to use that I think I'm either going to have real zippers put on by a tailor or return the thing. I'm home for 72 hours after being gone 7 weeks for initial training and don't know if this bag is worth the hype-ALL the other zippers are smooth as butter. I looked at the youtube video for the B4 vs B6 and noticed he unzippered the ends but never bothers to zipper them back on or together so I'm worried this is a known issue.
Anyone else having this problem?
