Foreflight or Jeppesen FD Pro?
Which app do you use? I'm currently using Foreflight, but i might want to try out Jeppessen when my subscription to foreflight ends.
Can seem to see if this is right, but Jepp is quiet expensive compared to Foreflight..
Pros-Cons for both appps?

I am a private pilot working on my IFR and I love foreflight unless doing hardcore IFR flight the regular version works perfectly. And if you have a garmin 430 the regular version will do everything you need and then some! I have used both and in my opinion foreflight is more user friendly and allows me to access my information easier and now it even allows you to download maps and go do other things on the I pad while they still load in the background. Foreflight even allows you to file and brief flight plans. I recommend getting the iPad with cellular then cancel your subscription to Verizon, AT&T etc because those iPads come with a GPS built in so no need for another accessory to plug or hook up that drains battery and clutters cockpit.

I would say that jeppesen is better for hard ifr, but as far as I can tell fore flight is cheaper (79$ vs 500$) and does more- personally I would love to use jepps if they didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Fore flight takes forever to download updates and takes up a ton of space on an iPad, I have seen as much as 11GB on mine. It does have some handy functions for the corp world, like a map of where the FBO is located on the field and all the frequencies.
Jep is a good solid product, I find for me that their charts are easier to read and understand. It takes about 5-15 minutes to update, so you can do that pretty easy on the road on hotel or FBO wifi without killing your battery.
Each have there positive and negative, I would see if they have a trial period, try them both and use what you like best.

Check out Anywhere Map Freedom.
Pretty inexpensive. I think about $80 for full IFR subcription. Includes moving map on approach plates and airport diagrams, plus a ton of other stuff.
I've used a good bit now and am pretty pleased with it.

I am fortunate enough to be able to use anything I want and I use fltplan. It has some features that are important to me such as PDC notification and eAPIS. It also does Garmin downloads if that is of interest. The W&B is also good. Jepps has a lot of good features that are interesting but I still like fltplan the best. Keep in mind that flight planning solutions are very much dependent on the user's needs. It is not "one size fits all."

JeppFD pro is great... I use it daily now but unless someone else foots the bill or your get it for under 200 it's not worth it compared to the other products. You do not get many "extras" but the charts are very very crisp and clear. The only advantage to Jeppesen fd that made the decision for me is the access to international charts.
