Of those 36 additional airplanes for UAL, 18 will replace some of the current fleet, i.e. EP's. It's a net of 18.

Source? Nothing in Leach's memo mentioned parking any airplanes. In fact it hinted of more flying on top of these airplanes.

I just got a call from a union rep, saying 18 are replacements. Well written memos have never been their specialty
