Thought this problem was already addressed with getting the weights changed a bit and removing some seats. Am I missing something?

Mitsubishi is gonna do that. Embraer isn't planning on doing any paperwork shuffle to change weights from what I just read.

Mitsubishi will be lucky to get their plane airborne the way they are going.

Actually Mitsubishi is telling people privately that they expect to beat the scheduled delivery date by 6 months....

Notice is says the MRJ will be recertified to meet scope restrictions in the US. Doesn't matter mainline management will dangle some carrot to get what they need and the mainline pilots will give in.

Let's hope not. Previously in this thread it was mentioned only 10 of the MRJ are guaranteed to TSA, and none of the 175s. Is there any documentation on this? Also what's current contracts like for the United and us flying currently being done? I have heard the new flying will be a minimum 5 years?

Thought TSA was firm on the first 50 orders, with options for 50 more...or...maybe that meant, they're firm, but they'll receive the first 10 of 50, and will eventually get the other 40 as they're available.

The orders are by TSH, not TSA. TSA is guaranteed the first 10, but the rest will (most likely) be dangled to gojets as a carrot for some concessions.
