Sorry, I must have not explained it well. What I'm trying to explain is that the bases a regional has or their current upgrade time they have is irrespective of the contract. I think all three are big factors in where people go. Some people rank them differently to suit their specific needs. But as far as commuting itself, yes a commuter clause can make that a lot easier as yours and XJT's both do by allowing unlimited use of it.

Also, pilots pay 38% of the premiums for medical and dental insurance for the employee only tier, and 50% for the employee +1 and +2 tiers.

I get it, there's some QoL differences, subtle contract differences, etc, but its not like any airline, even the 'top tier' regionals, are willing to pay pilots a decent salary for being the trained, experienced, college educated professionals that they are.
There are more than subtle contract differences, especially when comparing them to 'top tier' regionals. Many items are pretty close in most contracts but its usually the big ticket items (that ARE more subtle because it doesn't necessarily show up on a W2) that distinguishes the 'top tier' regionals. I'm talking about more generous full matching funds, company retirement contributions (B fund), lower health insurance cost sharing, more generous sick and vacation accrual, on the job injury bank that makes up the difference of state mandated compensation and MMG, a livable wage benefit for long term disability benefits, a no fault paid fatigue policy (not from sick bank), unlimited use of sick calls if you have a doctor's note, unlimited use of commuter drops, and even things like only having to sit airport standby 4 hours and get paid 4 hours. Most of things things in any other industry would set a company apart from the other average companies, these deferred compensation, welfare and fringe benefits.

Also, I believe that the CRJ 200 has a pressurization cycle limit and the ERJ does not.

He has to buy an 700 dollar iPad that the FAA is about to lock up so you can only use for company purposes. He pays for known crewmember out of his pocket. His union tells him he has cancelation pay when he only gets paid line guarantee and the union tells him its basically the same. He gets paid 50 seat rate for all sick time and vacation even though he flies a 70 seat. He gets paid 50 seat pay while in training for a 70 seat jet. The head of his company is a felon.

In short he has to troll us to keep himself from cutting.
Man you're quite sure of yourself aren't you. Tell you what, why don't you do some research on my posts and you may find out who I actually work for and why I participate on the Mesa thread so much. Here's a hint: It begins with a "U" and the airplane I fly carries more fuel from IAH-EWR than your aircraft's MGTOW.

Have a nice day!

I don't know much about the MRJ and I'm not sure UAL management is interested in having it in the network or if it even complies with our scope.

You go around all the other airline threads and tell them how bad their airline is and that they should be like TSA. Listen man, get a life. Stay in your TSA thread and leave people alone. Your decision to join TSA was great. It fits your life. People join Mesa, Republic, Express for what they want and need. You seem to get a chubby putting down people.

A regional, no matter which one, is still a **** regional. They all could be improved.

TSA has a solid future right now and I hope the best for EVERYONE. Not only at TSA but all pilots in this ever changing industry.

Be positive for once.
Very well said!

If I worked for Unied and spent all my free time on a regional forum, well...

This guy wins the plane measuring contest.

United is clearly not interested in an airplane that burns 20% less fuel than any other regional aircraft currently. This follows all logic.

Quite the claim for an airplane that has yet to see the sky, let alone complete any flight testing.
