Is the QC10/15 on the list?

Additionally, what's the hiring like, and what can a new hire expect to take home the first year?

Is scheduling done via PBS, looking for a place where I can block 10-20 days off in a row across months.

So no blocks even with PBS / trading? Contractual language? Or just cant bid into it out of the gate?

Regionals fly the tar out of their pilots so you can't cram your whole schedule to one half of the month without legality issues.

You can, but it all depends on your PBS system and works rules.

And I can tell ya right now that no regional is going to allow 10-20 day off blocks. (Likely not even if you're ridiculously senior)

Qc10-15 isn't on there. I would assume our POI doesn't like it because it isn't an aviation headset technically. I have no clue, but is it even TSO approved? Not that I care because all it means is a $100 sticker.

You just have to pile all your trips into one half of the month. 4 days on, 1 off, 4 on, 1 off, 4 on. If they have enough credit, thats 15 days of work at the beginning of a month, 15 days off for the rest. If you pile all your trips into the first half of May, and then pile all your trips into the last half of June, thats 30 days off in a row.

So if you know your system (and it allows it), getting 15-20 days off that spans two months is relatively easy. I did it a good bit with a previous system.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I was doing that before 117. I got so sick of working my tail off for those stretches I started to ease back. But it was fairly easy to get a stretch of 10-12 days off when I wanted. Pair that up with 5-6 days off at the beginning of the next month and you have a nice stretch.
