Hot off the monthly ALPA news letter-
"The company is continuing to try and acquire crew room space for a RDU base. They are actively talking to the airport authority about the possibility of getting the space. More updates to come."

Apparently they also hired some more people onto payroll and are working to eliminate any problems with unscheduled overnights. I guess we'll see how that plays out. In the newsletter it said they are talking about a contract extension though. You guys think it would be better or worse to extend the current contract instead of trying to negotiate for a new one?

I think it needs to be improved while we have leverage. They need us in a bad way right now. They also need to hire a lot more FO's. The Union needs to step up and put the screws to em.
