Quote: high school was rough for you I bet....but I'll take that offer also with your other hand use one finger, clockwise direction and don't look me in the eye!
I was the king of my high school. I still wear my chess club letterman's jacket all winter. I even fly with it on, while wearing my hat.
Way to go payroll! Not paying a single CQFO for their CA time for the month of May.

I had high hopes for this place, but I keep being disappointed at every turn. Ran into another CQFO yesterday (really really nice guy) who had put in his notice because "this place ****ed him off too much." Great way to retain employees during a time when we need as many pilots as possible.

I believe a memo came out the other day addressing this.

Payroll didn't pay me right either. Maybe I should quit. I hope he enjoys going back to FO pay at the bottom of the list.

The memo came out after they underpaid all the cqfo's and had enough of them complain. They intentionally paid them incorrectly and made up the new rule after the fact.

Intentionally? Doubt it. Pure negligence? Most likely. This company can't track when flights cancel and pay me right. There's no way they are able to independently track each CQFO and which seat they flew in each day. Not unless they hire 20 more people. SO, like everything here, it's up to you to make sure you (get paid, are legal, get training, etc).

Also, don't forget. It's not like that money disappears. The company is still obligated to pay them correctly and if they don't, they'll surely lose that battle in court. I'm willing to bet they'll just pay up.

Fill out the damn sheet, get your money and shut up.

How the company makes them fly through hail?

Considering up until this paycheck, all the CQFOs were paid CA pay without filling out a form (albeit usually for the wrong amount). Then on this check, with no warning, all the CQFOs were not paid the CA pay they were due. I would say it was intentional.

I would say negligence and incompetence comes into play when they consistently pay the wrong amount.

I know all the CQFOs will make sure they get paid correctly eventually but who is going to cover their overdraft fees and mortgage payments until then? I know payroll is saying that they don't even have to do anything about it till the 23rd.

Just so you know other airlines don't have these problems and it isn't the norm. Crewtrac is capable of keeping track of cancellations and even has annotations of when we fly as CA. Also, when payroll is in charge of three companies and over 6,000 employees maybe management should consider hiring more than 8 people.

So you didn't get paid at all? Oh. You're still getting the blended rate which is the lowest you were told up expect. If you are spending money based on the possibility of getting captain pay then maybe you should take a financial management class.

I'm not saying they are doing it right and I'm not frustrated but it's not just a CQFO problem. They aren't singling you out. They don't care. That's the problem
