Ok from an outsiders perspective you are being two faced once again. You are dogging a company for being willing to fly 70 seat AC for cheaper than you were willing to fly them for and you try to puff your chest out over this. Now fast forward to present day and you cheep arse TSA guys/gals are taking flying form Envoy and XJT because you are willing to do it for cheaper than them. Once again the pot calling the kettle black. Please move on and stop acting like you are on some pedestal or are so much better than any other carrier!!! Ok we all admit it TSA has the best pilots, the hottest flight attendants, and the best management team!!!! we are all on board and convinced!! Give me a break!!
As for Expressjet, their company (Skywest holdings) chose to give up the UAL flying and has decided to wind down Expressjet over a long period because Jerry Atkin detests ALPA. Expressjet's problems have nothing to do with us.
And TSA never gets the hot flight attendants. The Gojetzzz aholes get those too

I didn't know that I needed to have worked in the 121 world to actually know what's going on, thanks for clarifying that. Even a monkey can see the forest for the trees if they open their eyes and ask questions. I'm sure you're the glass half empty type of guy and will find a negative in any situation......more power to you.

Let me give you a clue. When you get to your new airline, shut up, sit down, listen and learn from those that have been around a while. You will be better off.
Probably the biggest problem that would occur with a Gojet merger is we will have to deal with guys like this voting on our contracts who are willing to give Hulas whatever he wants.

Guys are nice to your face because they want to be polite. Behind your back they will talk about you because you worked at G7. I have been amazed at the number of recent newhires when I jumpseat on mainline that tell me how much they despise anyone who works for Gojet. Go on and delude yourself. Does HR care? No. But your peers will always see you as someone who will sell everyone else out to get ahead. Comes with the stain of Gojet.
How does your $113 an hour apply now? ANYONE who goes to Gojet NOW is a fool and a sucker. Plenty of airlines are hiring with higher rates, better bonuses, better contracts, and cancellation pay with quicker upgrades than Gojet. It was a different story when then Gojet was the only offer you could get and most of the guys that were furloughs, Comair, etc have run like hell from the place. Heck they are so desperate they have Gojet management on APC posing as pilots to tell everyone what a great place Gojet is.
The sooner the abortion known as Gojet falls apart, the better for everyone.

No I don't. But I've had to vote on a contract that may eliminate my job in the process. Been furloughed multiple times. Been through bankruptcies at two companies. So take your glass half empty and shove it.

I don't think you quite understand what you are trying to say. The TSA pilot group didn't vote in concessions to get the flying. They didn't say, "which airline's flying should we take?" and then take a vote on it. We aren't even saying we have the best contract in the industry. We have, however, made gains to the point where we have one of the highest 50 seat rates in the industry. There are areas that need improvement but the company isn't underbidding because our contract is weak. They underbid because our pilot group is very young compared to the top heavy XJT/ENY. Their pilot group average longevity is probably close to ten years whereas as ours is probably closer to 3. Even considering that, TSH is and always has been ultra lean. Each position was minimally staffed and cost savings are king at HQ. Want new mx vehicles? No, you get murderer vans. Build a new headquarters? No, you get a vacant TWA training facility that is probably being rented for cents on the dollar. What about hangar space? You get one of the abandoned Boeing hangars. The cost savings there have WAY more impact to TSA bidding power than anything consider below average in the pilot contract. That's why ENY/XJT was underbid and would still be underbid even if TSA had XJTs contract.

Nope actually a pretty positive person and enjoy life. Just not one of these people like you that call the truths of life negativity. Like I said, learn a little and then come back and talk to me.

Nope after a 4 day I would rather leave the "politics" at the airport and go home and get on the boat. If the weather didn't suck so bad right now I would be on the lake.....but I do need some form of entertainment, hence why I'm here. But thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate being held in such high regard with you, Mr. "High Master of all that is Aviation".
