New planes??? What the hell are you talking about?? We don't have any new planes. All we have are beaten up/**** stained flying outhouses.. The ones we got form Eagle and ExpressJet are now in the worst shape ever. Multiple MELs, its ridiculous... If anyone votes yes on this TA, they're a sucker..

They weren't given to TSA that way. In fact, when Eagle took the 10 (9) EMB145s that TSA got after the TWA acquisition, Eagle estimated it would take 18 days to get the aircraft back up to Eagle standards (APU hush kits, Heavy Weight Mod etc etc) but it actually took Mtx over 45 days per aircraft. There was one aircraft that had a boot on the PAC ducting that had dried and cracked. Instead of replacing the part, it was duct taped and bound with compression fittings as if it were a old farm truck from Arkansas. The FAA investigated it but I am not sure the out come.

The maintenance here is a travesty. I have to agree with that. I feel more comfortable when outstation mechanics work on our planes rather than Trans States mechanics. Very sad.
